Company information:
1. Booking Confirmation: A booking with Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris is considered confirmed upon receipt of non-refundable deposit of 10% of the entire invoice.

2. Payment: The total payment for your package is due no later than 60 days prior to the start of your tour. Non-receipt of the payment may result in cancellation of the booking without prior notice.

3. Payment Methods: We accept payments through bank transfers, credit cards or online payment platforms. An additional charge of 3.5% may apply for credit card payments.

4. Prices: Prices on our website are listed in US dollars. You may pay in other currencies like EUR, GBP, CHF or JPY.

5. Cancellation Policy: In case you need to cancel your booking we will refund 50% in case we receive your cancellation at least 3 weeks before your trek starts. In case we receive your cancellation at least 72 hours before your trek starts, we will refund 25% of your invoice. In case Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris needs to cancel the trip, we will provide a full refund or provide an alternative tour of similar value. We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by your side.

6. Changes to itinerary: We reserve the right to make changes to the trek due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, road closures, or safety concerns. We will make any effort provide you with suitable alternatives.

7. Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive and adequate travel insurance for high mountain climbing to cover medical emergencies or any other unforeseen events like travel delays or trip cancellations. Proof of travel insurance may be required before commencement of the tour.

8. Health and Safety: You are responsible for ensuring that you are in good health and fit to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Any pre-existing medical conditions or dietary requirements should be communicated to us in advance.

9. Travel Documents: It’s your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and any other necessary travel documents you require for entering Tanzania. Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris will not be liable for any issues arising from insufficient or incorrect documentation.

10. Code of Conduct: You are required to adhere to ethical and responsible behavior during your trek, including respecting wildlife, local communities, and the natural environment. Any illegal activities or behaviors that could harm the ecosystem will not be tolerated.

11. Limitation of Liability: Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris shall not be held responsible for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused during the trek, unless resulting from negligence on our part. We recommend to secure your belongings at all times.

12. Force Majeure: Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, war, nature or government restrictions.

13. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris is registered. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
